The Most Important Problem You’ll Ever Have

1

Problems are nothing but wake-up calls for creativity – Gerhard Gschwandtner

You might be facing a problem, a roadblock, some devastating news.  However, I know one thing for sure —  if you are reading this blog, you’re here to jump over it.

And that might take some creativity. How can you think differently about this “problem?”

First, let’s change our language. A “problem” seems negative. Already my heart starts to sink. What if instead we said it was a challenge? And a challenge that leads to an opportunity?

Life wasn’t created so we can be stopped. Think about that. Something created the universe for growth, progress and advancement. We see that in nature all the time. So how can it not be true for you?

Would the Creator say:

“A rose it meant to blossom, but not you.  A new wave will always rise again, but not you.  You’ll be stuck in the earth for ever, never to bloom.   Or pummeled to the ocean floor. I am so sorry!”

Sincerely, the Creator

No, our world — and our lives — don’t operate like that.  Instead, it’s an opportunity to grow, to think differently, and to be a little creative. Let’s learn from these flowers below…. they could have decided to stop growing because they couldn’t grow directly upwards.

Or, they can twist and turn and be a little creative.  So can you.
